XV - XVII styles

XV - 15th Century style

Displaying Moorish motifs and the Portuguese Rooster.

The style has more detailed motives with more brown/orange main colour.

In the earlier days also other birds and animals were displayed but

due to the popularity of the rooster

(most likely influenced by the Rooster of Barcelos) those slowly disappeared

in todays artwork.

XVII - 17th Century style
